Here at HOT TOGS we love the great outdoors, whether it is scaling a mountain or exploring the countryside we just love to be out and about. However, as most of you will know keeping warm can be a big and expensive problem – so we set about trying to solve this. We were looking to develop a thermal base layer that could be worn as a ‘base layer’, for colder outdoor pursuits, but also for them to be warm enough and stylish enough to be used as a pair of warm leggings worn on their own. We wanted to achieve all of this and still ensure they would be affordable – this was the challenge! Over 12 months of innovation, experimentation and development followed and our ideas became a reality. We had achieved our goal of creating a pair of leggings with outstanding thermal qualities that are extremely comfortable to wear, look stylish and available at a great price! They’re perfect as a base layer or worn on their own –HOT TOGS Ultra Thermal leggings were born and we are very proud of them, they really are a key item of women’s winter wardrobes everywhere!
Having achieved our aim we were keen to offer more, we wanted to develop a sock that would keep your feet warm and offer performance without having to be thick and bulky. After much trial and error we were thrilled to offer our ‘Thermolite walking socks’. These socks offer all the warmth you want from a thermal sock but without any bulk. Not only that but they are hard wearing, moisture wicking, breathable, with arch support and a flat toe seam – they are an all round treat for your feet! Perfect for walking, equestrian, cycling…any activity where your feet can get cool.
From our early days we have always strived to look after our customers and to listen to them, this is the key! As a result we launched our very popular Men’s version of our Ultra Thermal leggings – these are our Men’s base layers, next came our fashion leggings with bamboo and then a lighter weight version of our thermolite socks – our All Season socks, which are perfect for wearing all year round. We are also very proud to add the long length sock due to particularly high demand from the equestrian market. We are continually working on new products and new ideas but we always stick firmly to what we first set out to do – to offer advanced thermal wear that is designed for performance, comfort and style and available at affordable prices.
